Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply when you use AlignerDiary (also known as 齿间时光), provided by an independent developer.

1. Personal record purpose

AlignerDiary is a personal tool for organizing aligner plans, wear intervals, notes, appointments, reminders, photos, comparisons, and statistics. It does not diagnose dental or medical conditions and does not provide treatment guidance. Follow the instructions of your dentist, orthodontist, or other qualified clinician. Do not delay professional care because of information shown in the app.

2. Your records and device

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for keeping your device and Apple account secure. Reminders, calculated summaries, and planned dates depend on your entries and device settings. Review important records and confirm your current tray and wear status before relying on them.

3. Backups and restore

You are responsible for maintaining suitable backups. Manual exports are stored or shared at destinations you choose. Optional iCloud backup is a snapshot service, not continuous two-way synchronization, and may be delayed or unavailable because of network, account, storage, device, or Apple service conditions.

Restoring a backup replaces the current diary, settings, and photos rather than merging them. Review the restore preview and keep any separate copy you need before proceeding. Clearing local data does not remove exported files, cloud copies, operating-system backups, original images in Photos, or Apple purchase records.

4. Photos and permissions

Only add photos and other information that you are entitled to use. You control whether to grant camera and notification permissions. A Home Screen widget can make limited wear, tray, and appointment information visible to anyone who can view your device.

5. Optional tips

Coffee-themed tips are optional consumable purchases with no physical goods. They are not subscriptions and do not unlock features or affect use of the app. The price is shown in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation; Apple processes payment. Because tips are consumable, the app does not offer Restore Purchases for them. Refund eligibility and requests are handled by Apple; see Request a refund from Apple.

6. Availability and changes

The app is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued. These terms may also be updated, with the current date shown above. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. App license

Unless a custom license is supplied with your App Store download, Apple's Standard EULA governs the app license.
