1. About this policy

This policy explains how 朝暮有数 handles information. The app is provided by an independent developer. Contact: daniel.ding117@gmail.com. Last updated: October 12, 2026.

2. Your ledger and photos

Records, amounts, categories, projects, notes, payer details, preferences and photo attachments are stored in the app on your device. No separate developer account is required. Camera access is requested when taking a photo. Saving a copy to the system photo library is optional and off by default; enabling it requests add-only photo permission. Photo recognition is not currently provided.

3. Optional AI voice bookkeeping

Using AI voice bookkeeping requires microphone permission, a network connection and an eligible Apple subscription or trial. The recording and current enabled category names, project names, currencies, exchange rates, default currency, business date and time zone are sent over HTTPS to our Alibaba Cloud Function Compute gateway in Shanghai. Audio is processed by Alibaba Cloud Bailian/Qwen speech recognition and the transcript and supplied context are processed to create draft entries. Existing ledger records and photo attachments are not included in this request. Do not record other people or sensitive details that are unnecessary for bookkeeping.

4. Processing and retention

The gateway checks the signed Apple transaction and current entitlement with Apple before calling AI. Our gateway does not create a database of audio, transcripts or purchase credentials; these are processed for the request. Temporary audio files on the device are cleaned up when the recording workflow completes or is cancelled. Cloud infrastructure may retain operational logs, and Apple and Alibaba Cloud apply their own processing and retention policies. We do not promise immediate deletion from every provider system. Drafts require your confirmation before becoming ledger records.

5. iCloud, exports and other network requests

Optional iCloud backup stores ledger snapshots, including photo attachments, in the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. Backup and restore are manual snapshots, not automatic multi-device synchronization. Up to ten successful snapshots are retained; deleting local records does not delete older snapshots or exported copies. CSV reports are shared only through the destination you select and cannot restore the ledger. Online exchange-rate updates send currency-related requests to external rate services, not ledger records.

6. Purchases and diagnostics

Apple handles subscription and voluntary tip payments. The app reads verified transactions, product prices and subscription status. The AI gateway receives a signed transaction to verify access; we do not receive your card details. Voluntary tips are separate from AI access. The app does not include advertising or tracking analytics SDKs. OS, TestFlight and hosting services may produce their own diagnostics under their settings and policies.

7. Your choices and deletion

You can use basic bookkeeping without AI, deny or revoke camera/microphone/photo permissions in iOS Settings, delete records in the app, and manage stored snapshots in the backup interface. Copies saved in Photos, shared exports and backups must be managed separately. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to Apple device backup and restoration behavior; it does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage cancellation through Apple subscriptions.
